The TT Presentation app is a native iOS app for iPad that was created specifically for IBM’s Technology Team, which consists of the top technology leaders within the company. This app was commissioned directly by Ginni Rommety herself, IBM’s CEO at the time. The app was designed to allow the Technology Team to upload and share presentations and pitches with one another to share in a monthly meeting similar to an internal TED talk.
I began this project by brainstorming with a small team of 4 UX and UI Designers. After looking at a few other apps that had similar concepts, we held a group sketching session where we whiteboarded a few key ideas. After this brainstorming was complete, I took over the rest of the project, building out the information architecture, wireframes, UI design, and interaction design – complete with animations. Several iterations were made based on feedback from the other designers on the team until the final version was settled on, presented to the Technology Team, and delivered to the engineers for development.
